Coming to SYFY and USA on October 12, IGN premieres the official artwork for Don Mancini‘s “Chucky” sequence that teases some killer soul-swapping and takes a stab at telling a basic coming-of-age rage story.
Brad Dourif is again as Chucky and Jennifer Tilly is again as Tiffany in “Chucky,” which can proceed the storylines from the *unique* films and their current sequels, Curse and Cult of Chucky. Additionally returning are Fiona Dourif as Nica Pierce, Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay, and Christine Elise as Kyle. Devon Sawa (Last Vacation spot, Hunter Hunter) additionally stars.
“Chucky” has been described as a “contemporary tackle the franchise” that’ll “discover Chucky’s character with a depth that’s uniquely afforded by the tv sequence format.”
Within the sequence, “After a classic Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American city is thrown into chaos as a sequence of horrifying murders start to reveal the city’s hypocrisies and secrets and techniques. In the meantime, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky’s previous threatens to reveal the reality behind the killings, in addition to the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly bizarre youngster who one way or the other turned this infamous monster.”
The premiere episode of “Chucky” was directed by Mancini himself, with different episode administrators together with Dermott Downs, Leslie Libman, Samir Rahem, and Jeff Renfroe.
